Born and raised in Dana Point, Matthew grew up enjoying the amazing amenities of his dynamic community. He attended R.H. Dana, Marco Forester, and Dana Hills along with his wife. They have 4 children who attend St. Edwards Parish School. His local perspective and long-term interest in the future of the City yield a balanced approach to the issues that all residents care about including a) maintaining a wonderful quality of life, b) being fiscally responsible with the City’s (taxpayer’s) budget and c) ensuring support for local law enforcement.

Professionally, he is the CFO of one of the largest mechanical contractors in the state. He has advanced degrees in finance and leadership and has consulted numerous sophisticated businesses, schools, universities, and non-profit organizations.

He is committed to rational and pragmatic problem-solving for the residents of District 2, listens to residents with an open mind, and leads District 2 with integrity for the benefit of all Dana Point citizens.

Matthew appreciates this opportunity and is honored to represent the people of District 2 in the great City of Dana Point.
