November 3, 2026 - General Municipal Election

A candidate is not eligible to appear on the ballot until their nomination papers have been filed with the City Clerk and the submitted signatures have been verified as sufficient. Candidates are listed in the order they pulled papers, from earliest to latest.

On August 13, 2026, the Secretary of State will conduct a randomized alphabet drawing in accordance with Elections Code Section 13112. This drawing establishes the order of candidates’ names on the ballot, beginning with the last name, followed by the first name, and then the middle name if applicable. If two or more candidates share the same initial letter in their last name, the order is determined by the next letter, and so on, until a difference is found.
