The City of Dana Point and its Arts & Culture Commission invites local artists and art students to participate in the City’s first ever Utility Box Public Art Program. The City and the Commission are seeking artists to submit their work in a Pilot Program to help beautify 9 utility boxes located throughout the City. The goals of the program are to use public art to enhance the vitality and attractiveness of the City’s streetscapes and bring art to unexpected places. This program is open to all adult and student practicing artists, with consideration going to artists that are residents or business owners in Dana Point. All entries must be an original design, suitable for viewing by all ages, and all walks of life.  Applications are due March 2nd by 5:00 pm.
