Sizzling Independence Day Entertainment both Convenient and Accessible

Post Date:07/02/2008 12:30 PM

The City of Dana Point, the Dana Point Harbor Association, and its sponsors are proud to present the annual 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza. This year's show will be one of the biggest celebrations in Orange County.

We anticipate many visitors making their way to Dana Point to partake in this year’s festivities. In order to accommodate both our residents and visitors, and mitigate traffic issues, the City of Dana Point will provide a FREE shuttle service. The shuttle leaves approximately every 10 – 15 minutes from Dana Hills High School and goes directly to the Harbor, running from 10:00 am until 11:00 pm. All entrances to the Harbor will be closed to private vehicles beginning at 7:30 pm.

Additionally, there will be a free shuttle servicing visitors within the harbor area from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm. Stops include the Ocean Institute, OC Sailing & Events Center, Island Way, Mariner’s & Dana Wharf Villages, and Doheny State Beach. A map of both shuttle routes can be found here.

For more information, please call the City of Dana Point at (949) 248-3530 or contact the Dana Point Harbor at (949) 923-2255 or visit
