The Community Services Division of the Community Services & Parks Department creates community through people, parks and programs by providing recreational and cultural arts programs for all to enjoy. We offer a wide variety of services for toddlers to seniors. The operation focuses on providing passive and active activities designed to meet the growing leisure service demand. Some of the ongoing programs include contractual classes, adult and youth sport leagues, summer youth camps, trips and special events throughout the year.
The Community Services office is located at the Dana Point Community Center, 34052 Del Obispo St., Dana Point. For the convenience of our customers, we offer extended office hours, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You may reach us by phone at (949) 248-3530.

WINTER CLASS REGISTRATION STARTS NOVEMBER 17TH!

Registration accepted in the following ways:
Walk-In Registration - Dana Point Community Center, 34052 Del Obispo St., Dana Point. Monday-Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Mail-In Registration - Mail completed registration form and payment to: City of Dana Point Community Services and Parks Department, 34052 Del Obispo St. Dana Point, CA 92629. To download a registration form for classes click here. Method of Payment: Check payable to "City of Dana Point." We do not accept debit or credit card payment.
GENERAL REGISTRATION INFORMATION

All courses are subject to cancelation or schedule change.

Customers are not permitted to register and sign the Agreement, Waiver and Release form for non family members.

Preregistration is required, no later than one business day before the first class date.

Class registration can not be accepted at class by the instructor.

Spaces are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Should the class be filled, we will notify you and place your name on a wait list, and return your payment.

Registration confirmation will be sent via e-mail, or you may supply a self-addressed stamped envelope and we will mail you confirmation.
REFUNDS
City Canceled Class - When classes are canceled by the City an automatic full refund will be issued. Please allow up to 3 weeks for the City to mail out the refund check. You also have the option of a "Fun Bucks" full credit on your customer account for future use.
Customer Cancellation- To drop a course, contact the Recreation Supervisor during normal business hours at (949) 248-3533 or email smurphy@danapoint.org. Cancellation requests received after the class has started will be based upon a pro-rated refund, plus a withdrawal fee of $10. No refunds will be granted after the class has ended.
ADULT & YOUTH SPORT LEAGUES
The City offers adult sport leagues in Co-ed Softball, Chicago Ball and Kickball and a Youth Basketball league. The Youth Basketball program is currently full. To waitlist your child contact the Community Services & Parks Dept. at (949) 248-3530.
EVENTS
A variety of family oriented community events are held throughout the year, such as the Winter Festival, Egg Hunts, Summer Concerts, Festival of Whales Parade and more! For a listing of upcoming events please check out our event calendar.

EXCURSIONS
The following trips are offered through the City of Dana Point Community Services & Parks Department. All trips depart from the Community Center located at 34052 Del Obispo St., Dana Point. Please arrive thirty minutes prior to departure time. No refund for trips will be granted unless we can fill your spot from an established wait list.
