The trail is a perfect setting for a romantic stroll or journey back in time to the days of Richard Henry Dana and seaman aboard the brig Pilgrim. Stone archways welcome you midway down the trail, where the “The hide Drougher” statue tells the tale of the days when the bluff was used to expedite the transport of hides to ships anchored below.
