Commitment to Quality
The City of Dana Point has made a commitment to provide the highest quality professional law enforcement services to the people of Dana Point and to do everything necessary to strengthen the relationship between the community and the police. I firmly believe that the citizens and the police must work as partners and that we work best when we work together. Working in coordination and cooperation with other city departments and community organizations, we will establish coalitions to successfully develop comprehensive solutions to community problems, to combat crime and to improve our quality of life.

Partnership Built on Trust
The partnership between the police and the community is built on trust. Dana Point Police Services will strive to inspire the public trust and confidence through shared information, education, integrity, fairness and ethical behavior. We will work to preserve the rights of each citizen and will be resolute in our efforts to maintain the highest standards.

It is my great privilege to be the Chief of Police for the beautiful City of Dana Point and I value input from the community and invite your thoughts and comments concerning what you like about Police Services and what you feel may need improvement. I believe that no institution is perfect and understand the need to be flexible and to change as required to best protect and serve our citizens.
