Permit Fees

Due to the complexity of the permitting process, the Building and Safety Division has developed several fee work sheets and samples. New construction fees are based on the project valuation. This value is used for both the plan review and inspection fee calculations. Fixed fees are based on standard industry cost and are quantity driven.

Fees for a development project will depend on the size and complexity of the project. Normally the initial discretionary fee(s) associated with the planning approval(s) are charged independently of the Building review submittal and permitting.
