We offer a wide variety of programs and services designed for any age senior to meet their educational, recreational, social and human service needs. Activities vary each month and reflect the needs and interests of the community, as well as the resources. We invite Dana Point seniors to join us for our weekday lunch program, or any of the other great activities listed below. You'll meet new people, in a warm, welcoming, friendly atmosphere. (Schedule subject to change or cancellation).

SPECIAL LUNCHEONS
All special luncheons are held from 11:30am to 1:00pm. $4.00 donation appreciated for each luncheon, unless otherwise indicated. Weekday lunches also available, please see the "Services Section."

SPECIAL SERVICES
AARP Driver Safety Program - Driver refresher course for motorists 50 years and older to help improve driving skills, and learn to avoid accidents and traffic violations. Next class and April 28th and 29th. Call (949) 496-4252.
Bingo - Monday and Wednesday each week with ten sponsored bingos a month, 12:15-1:00pm.
Case Managment - Free home assessment to determine the level assistance needed to help maintain senior's independence. By appointment, call (949) 496-9519.
Commodities Distribution - Free food distributed to qualified senior residents by the Second Harvest Food Bank. Eligibility information posted at the Senior Center. Monthly, 9:00-11:00am on Thursday after the third Wednesday.
Hi-Cap Counseling - Free Medicare and insurance counseling. Last Monday of each month. 11:00am-1:00pm, by appointment, call (949) 496-4252.
Home Delivered Meals - For homebound seniors 60+ yrs, or anyone unable to shop or cook on their own. Meals include breakfast, hot lunch and cold dinner, delivered Mon.-Fri. Donation: $6.50 per day is appreciated. Call (949) 496-4252.
Legal Consultation For Seniors - Consult with an attorney fo FREE regarding Probate, Estate Planning, Wills, Trusts and Elder Law. 2nd Wednesday of the month, by appointment. Call (949) 496-4252.
Senior Lunch Program - Meals served weekdays, 11:45am at the Senior Center. Meals include beverage, dessert and good fellowship. $4.00 donation appreciated. Free transportation provided by request. Call (949) 496-4252 for menu details.
Visual Aide & Consulation - Braille Institute program assisting seniors with low vision problems; evaluating needs, use of devices to improve reading and other tasks. Doctor's written referral required. By appointment, (714) 821-5000.
Volunteers Needed - Volunteers needed to help at the Senior Center, Meals on Wheels or serving lunches. Applications accepted at the Center, Mon.-Fri. from 8:30am-2:30pm.
BEACH CITIES SENIOR CLUB TRIPS
All trips include deluxe motor coach transportation and depart from and return to the Dana Point Community Center, 34052 Del Obispo. When registering, make checks payable to: Beach Cities Senior Club and mail to 34052 Del Obispo St., Dana Point, CA 92629. May 18: San Manuel Indian Casino - $9.00, bus departs at 8am, returns at 6pm. $10 Players Choice.
May 22: Brigadoon (Fullerton Civic Light Opera) - $88, includes lunch at the Old Spaghetti Factory. Bus departs at 10:00am, returns at 5:30pm.
June 4: Valley View Casino - $22, free lunch for new players only. $15 Player Credit. Bus departs at 8:30am, returns at 5:30pm.
June 18: Red Car Revival Pacific Electric Railway - $60, lunch included at the Red Car Brewery and Restaurant. Red car ride to San Pedro, visit a Fire Station Museum & Brewery Processing. Bus departs at 10:30am, returns at 5:30pm.
July 11: Walt Disney Concert Hall, Los Angeles - $100, Andrew Lloyd Weber Goes to Italy with lunch at Taix French Restaurant. Bus departs at 10:00am, returns at 5:00pm.
July 23: Pala Casino - $10. $5.00 Cash Back. Bus departs at 8:30am, returns at 8:30pm.
August 19 - Pechanga Casino - $9. Bus departs at 8:00am, returns at 6:00pm.
