SENIOR CONSTRUCTION INSPECTOR ($4,993 - $6,491/month plus benefits) The City of Dana Point is seeking experienced professional to fill its vacancy for Senior Construction Inspector. The position performs a variety of duties involved in inspecting the workmanship and materials used in a variety of public and private development, construction and capital improvement projects of City infrastructure; such as street and park work, utilities, grading, landscaping, traffic control, water quality, and public safety. The incumbent will ensure conformance with applicable federal and state laws, codes, local ordinances, plans, specifications, and departmental regulations; and administer a variety of systems and programs for the City. NATURAL RESOURCE PROTECTION OFFICER ($4,242-$5,968/month plus benefits) The City of Dana is seeking a dynamic, self starter to fill its new Natural Resource Protection Officer position. The position is responsible for planning, coordinating and implementing natural resource protection program activities, public education and interpretation; recruit, train and lead/supervise volunteers and docents, and; provide oversight of general operations and routine maintenance within the City of Dana Point’s Headlands Open Space Parks and Marine Conservation Areas.
