Steven Weinberg
Council Member
Elected to the City Council in November 2006, Steven Weinberg
assumed office on December 13, 2006. Steven is a 19 year
resident of Dana Point and has been married to Carole for
40 years and has three daughters who graduated from Dana
Hills High School. Steven is a Vietnam era veteran. Steven
graduated from the University of California, Davis with
a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
As a business executive Steven formed and operated
$50,000,000 divisions for two Fortune 500 companies. While
Kingston Technology's Vice President of Sales, revenue
grew to $1,200,000,000 in 7 years, while incurring
no debt.
Some of his interests are maintaining the City’s
outstanding quality of life and healthy beaches in Dana
Point, Capistrano Beach, and Monarch Beach and as a bicyclist
contributing to the City’s Bike, Trails and Parks
Master Plan.
His past accomplishments include:
